Gluteoplasty is a procedure performed to enhance or improve the appearance of gluteal area. Size augmentation and reshaping are used to return balance to the patient’s figure. It is an ambulatory procedure achieved by implanting a gluteal prosthesis (which has different properties to those used in mamary augmentation) under the gluteus maxims muscle. The procedure is done through a midline incision, which leaves no visible scarring after it is finished.
